Obituary of Bill de Boer
At Hospice Wellington in Guelph, on May 26th 2022, Bill de Boer of Guelph and formerly of Wingham and Kinloss Township, passed away peacefully at the age of 85.
Devoted husband of the late Hennie (VanDonkersgoed) de Boer who predeceased him in 2015. Loving father of Kenneth & Jocelyn de Boer of Prince Edward County, Rosemary & David Hood of Guelph, Murray & Deborah de Boer of Wyoming and John de Boer of Wingham. Father-in-law of Christina Lammerant and Ronda de Boer. Lovingly remembered by nineteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Brother of Cees deBoer, Teena Kloet, and Hans de Boer. Predeceased by his son David in 1995, two sisters and one brother.
A private interment and committal service will take place on June 1st 2022 at Wingham Cemetery, followed by a funeral service for the public at Lucknow Christian Reformed Church at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Wellington or Canadian Foodgrains Bank would be appreciated.
The family requests that masks be worn during the service at the church.
