Margaret’s Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of the late Margaret Willette (nee Bennett) announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday May 25th, 2022 at The Western Long Term Care in Corner Brook at the age of 81. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her daughters; Marilyn (Walter) and Kim (Glen), grandchildren; April Willette-Hull, Tyler Willette-Hull, Martin Power and Matthew Power. Special sister Mona Payne and sister-in-law Kathleen Bennett. Her in-laws; Annie and Joe White, Bernadette Willette, Phil Willette and Peggy O’Brien, Loretta and Neil Dolmage, John and Carol Anne Willette, Helen and Wendell Forward, Kathleen and Fred Webster, Terry and Lynn Willette, also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 51 years Samuel Willette, son Christopher Willette. Parents; John and Goldie Bennett, mother and father-in-law; John and Suzanne Willette, brothers; Edmund Bennett (Anne) and Ruben Bennett, sister; Mildred Bennett (Fred). Sister and brother-in-law; Gertrude and Robert Parsons and brother-in-law Kevin Willette.
Visitation will take place on Sunday May 29th, 2022 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Anglican Church in Woody Point also where the funeral service will be held on Monday May 30th, 2022 at 2 pm with Father Anthony officiating with interment to follow at the family plot.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Margaret.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Western Long Term Care and her home care workers through the years for the care given to their mom.
We know our grieving families still need to feel the same level of comfort and support from you their family, friends and community. Continue to reach out through calls, emails and texts instead of hugs or visit our web page to sign the guest book and leave a message of condolence for the family.
