Patricia (Pat) Essland
Passed away at Mill Creek Care Centre, Barrie, Friday, May 20, 2022. Patricia (Pat) Matilda Essland (nee Bemrose) of Barrie formerly of Rob Roy at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Essland. Loving mother of Carol Ann Caswell (Dale), and mother-in-law of Wayne McKenzie.
Cherished grandma of Carrie Haughton (Paul), Trevor Caswell (Christine), Mike Caswell, Jeff Caswell (Jenna), Greg McKenzie (Harmony), and Kevin McKenzie (Jackie).
Loving great-grandma “G.G.” of Isla & Will Haughton; Kaitlyn & Amelia Caswell; Carleigh Caswell; Clinton & Maryn Patricia Caswell; Wesson McKenzie; and Murdoch McKenzie.
Sadly missed by sister-in-law Helen Bemrose and brother-in-law Gerry Gonneau. Pat will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her daughter Karen McKenzie, sisters Anne, Dorothy, Mary, Diane, Kaye, Margaret, and brothers John, Tom and George, sister-in-law Isabel Essland.
The family will receive friends at the May Funeral Home, Markdale, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 1:30 p.m. – please wear a mask.
A private service will be held, followed by interment in Rob Roy United Church Cemetery.
