It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mervin Keith Sabourin after a long battle with cancer.
Mervin is the youngest son of Clara and Matthew Sabourin. He was born in Tisdale on July 4, 1939 and died May 18, 2022.
Mervin is survived by his wife of 61 years, Colleen (nee Carleton) and his daughters Celena Sabourin, Juanita (Brad) Blixt, and Marjorie Granrude; his grandchildren Jennifer, Angela (Ryan), Curtis (Jolene), Kyle (Stacey), and Blaze; his great grandchildren Raimi, Carter, Cohen, Ronin, Ellory, Kenzen, and Caleb, as well as numerous extended family.
Mervin was predeceased by his parents, his brother Donald, and his sister Bernice.
Mervin spent his life on the family farm in Barford until moving to Tisdale in 2014. He worked at the Alfalfa Dehy Plant in Tisdale for 32 years. His passion was family and farming.
Thank you to all the staff at Tisdale Hospital for their care and compassion in making his last days comfortable. Memorial donations in memory of Mervin may be forwarded to the Saskatoon Cancer Centre or Tisdale Hospital Auxiliary.
