Mark Leslie Hamilton 2022

Mark’s Obituary
HAMILTON, Mark Leslie ~ at age 71, Mark passed away at home in Tremont, on February 24, 2022, with his loving companion by his side. To paraphrase Old Blue Eyes, he did it his way. He is survived by his CL wife, Kathy Chapman; his son, Scott, Edmonton, AB., Pat Hamilton, Greenwood; his sisters, Ruth Hamilton, Golden, BC; and Janet Killoran, Canmore, AB. Mark was loved and will be missed by Kathy’s family, Mike Chapman (Lorraine) Fort Saskatchewan, AB; Nancy Chapman, Amherst, NS. (Nancy passed away four hours after Mark); Bill Chapman (Merry Anne) Northport, NS; Robin Chapman, Amherst, NS; Mary Allen (Gary) Sackville, NB; Stephen Chapman (Donna), Amherst, NS; and Peter Chapman (Diane), Truro, NS. Mark was predeceased by his son, Luke; his brother, Arnold, and his parents, John and Betty Hamilton. He worked at Armstrong’s food delivery for 33 years and then for Farmer’s Dairy for six years. Mark enjoyed many years at Wolfe camp on Waterloo Lake and I know the camp will miss him too. Mark was a talented and versatile musician, being a leftie, he had to be, and he loved nothing more than playing and jamming with his friends. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. A celebration of life will take place from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, in Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 98, 1472 Veterans Lane, Kingston. In lieu of flowers, donations the Victorian Order of Nurses ~ Annapolis Valley Branch would be greatly appreciated. I could not have done this without them. I called them my earth angels.
