It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jimmy Dean Mitchell on May 17, 2022 in Vernon, BC. Jimmy is survived by his two sons; Darren (Kate) Mitchell and Gerald Mitchell, daughter Jeanne Keller and son-in-law Trevor Likus, grandchildren Evan, Rachel, Jessica, Victor, Aliya, Kyla, Lindsey, Dallas, Angie and Cory. Also 5 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Beatrix Mitchell, daughter Cheryl Likus and granddaughter Brittany Mitchell. Jimmy was a millwright at the Lavington Glass Plant for 30+ years. He enjoyed gold panning, fishing, camping and working at the Fintry Ranch. He will be forever loved and missed by his entire family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC would be appreciated. Thank you to Dr. Sharma and Dr. Screen and the care staff at Cottage 5 at Heron Grove for their care.
