Obituary
A l’aube de ses 86 ans, c’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Pauline (née Adam) Laplante, décédée le 16 mai 2022.
Elle fut l’épouse bien-aimée de Réjean Laplante pour soixante-cinq ans.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses 4 enfants : Daniel (Jocelyne Bazinet), Marielle (David Wheeler), Normand (Suzanne Beaudoin) et Nicole (Bill Nicol); ses petits-enfants adorés : Danny Richer, Dominique Laplante, Émilie Wheeler, Chloé Wheeler, Katherine Laplante, Alexandra Laplante, Gabrielle Nicol et Joshua Nicol; et ses 3 arrière-petits-enfants : Stella, Olivia et Evie; ses frères et sœur : Fernand Adam (feu Fleurette), Émile Adam, Raymond Adam (Monique) et Jacqueline Seabrook (feu Ronald), ainsi que plusieurs membres de famille et amis.
Prédécédée par ses parents Hector et Thérèse (née Lafrance) Adam; ses sœurs : Jeannine Bazinet (Lionel) et Diane Adam.
Un merci spécial à Dr Dominique Miron, au personnel de la Résidence Aquatria et à tous les soignants professionnels qui ont si bien pris soin d’elle.
Nous sommes très reconnaissants envers la Congrégation des Sœurs du Sacré-Cœur de Jésus à Aquatria, et particulièrement à sœur Thérèse Charbonneau.
Gentille et aimante, Maman était une âme douce avec un sourire pour tous ceux qu’elle rencontrait tout au long de sa vie. Elle nous manquera profondément.
La famille et les amis sont invités à se rencontrer au Salons Funéraires Lamarche & Hill, 709, rue Principale, Casselman, Ontario, le vendredi 20 mai 2022, de 11h à 12h30. Une messe funéraire sera célébrée dans l’église Sainte-Euphémie à 13h suivie de l’inhumation au cimetière Sainte-Euphémie.
Vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à l’Institut de cardiologie de l’Université d’Ottawa.

In her 86th year, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline (née Adam) Laplante, who passed away on May 16, 2022.
Beloved wife of Réjean Laplante for sixty-five years.
Loving mother of Daniel (Jocelyne Bazinet), Marielle (David Wheeler), Normand (Suzanne Beaudoin) and Nicole (Bill Nicol).
Cherished grandmother of Danny Richer, Dominique Laplante, Émilie Wheeler, Chloé Wheeler, Katherine Laplante, Alexandra Laplante, Gabrielle Nicol, and Joshua Nicol.
Adored great-grandmother of Stella, Olivia, and Evie.
Dear sister of Fernand Adam (late Fleurette), Émile Adam, Raymond Adam (Monique) and Jacqueline Seabrook (late Ronald).
Pauline will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Hector and Thérèse (née Lafrance) Adam and by her sisters Jeannine Bazinet (Lionel) and Diane Adam.
A special thank you to Dr Dominique Miron, to the staff at Résidence Aquatria and to all the professional caregivers that cared for her.

Kind and loving, Mom was a gentle soul with a smile for everyone she met throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are asked to meet at Salons Funéraires Lamarche & Hill Funeral Homes, 709 rue Principale Street, Casselman, Ontario, on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated in Ste-Euphémie Church at 1 p.m. Followed by interment at Ste-Euphémie Cemetery.
Donations would be appreciated to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
