Janet’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the Janet Hayward.
Born June 22, 1936 to Dorman and Daisy Hillier of Campbellton. Janet worked in her early years has a waitress in Campbellton and Lewisporte, where she met Alf and moved to Laurenceton to get married and together they raised 6 children.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dorman and Daisy Hillier; sister, Joyce Curtis; brother, Donald Hillier and Lloyd Hillier; sisters-in-law, Hazel Hillier and Marion Hillier; brother -in- law, Leonard Rideout. Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, Alf; children, Norma (Dave), Randy (Sharron), Trudy (Ed), Varrick, Boyce, Cindy; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Stephanie), Christa (Tyson), Melissa (Chad), Renee (Adam), Heather (Anthony), Rebecca (Ryan), Andrew (Jen), John (Danica), Justin, Jessaka (Matt); 10 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Public visitation will take place from the Bethel Pentecostal Church, Laurenceton on Tuesday, May 17th from 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Wednesday, May 18th at 2 PM. Interment will follow from the Bethel Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Laurenceton.
As expression of sympathy flowers or donations to the Pentecostal Cemetery, Laurenceton will be gratefully accepted.
