It is with broken hearts and fond memories we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, poppy, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and dear friend. Robert passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Ian Anderson Hospice on May 12th, 2022. Soulmate and devoted husband of 45 years to Cynthia O’Brien (Meadus), father like no other to his children Amanda Stewart ( O’Brien), Robyn O’Brien, and Cory O’Brien. Best poppy in the world to his five grandchildren whom he adored and cherished, Kyle, Adam, Emily, Alice, and Henry.
Born in Newfoundland, Robert was a hard worker who loved his family. He loved to smile, and laugh and was the most caring man. He was so well-liked and loved by so many. Always and forever in our hearts, we love and miss you so very much. You are now in heaven with your mom and dad, Edmund and Louise O’Brien, and your brother, Paul O’Brien. Robert will be missed by all his family and friends.
