Obituary
In loving memory of Roger Forget who passed away peacefully at the Muskoka Shores Care Community long term care home on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the age of 82. Roger is survived by his wife Gloria Hayes, daughters Carrie (John Baron), Cindy (Brian Snow) and sons Guy and Gerry as well as his grandchildren Corrie, Jonnie-Lyn, Carrie, Calyn and Elle. Also survived by Carol Forget (Bryans) his children’s mother. He will be greatly missed by his siblings Yvonne, Rolly (Lois), Paul (Denise) and Pauline (John). Roger was predeceased by his daughter Debbie, Sister Jeannine Miron, brothers Raymond, Ernie and Leo.
Roger enjoyed a lengthy career as a bank manager with the Royal Bank followed by a successful career as a realtor with Remax. Roger was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. If desired, donations may be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Society.
The family would like to thank all the care givers at the Muskoka Shores Care Community especially those working on the 3rd floor south Pine.
