Underhill, Allan Keith
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Allan was the loving husband of Patricia (nee Hilton) for 66 years and the proud father of Lynda Forbes (Jim), late Nancy Comartin (Jim), Karen Clarke (Tom) and Carolyn Jobbitt (Jim). Cherished Grandpa of Sarah McDowell (Rylan), Matthew Comartin (Alicia), Jessica Jobbitt (Cameron), Allan Clarke (Tara), Michelle Jobbitt, Brad Clarke and very proud Great-Grandpa to Reean McDowell. Allan was predeceased by his parents, George and Lillian Underhill and his brother George and sister Marion. Allan was a long-time employee with Westclox in Peterborough and L & L Tool in Bowmanville. Allan was a kind man with a big heart, a willingness to always lend a hand and always had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Highland Park Funeral Centre, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Highland Park Funeral Chapel. Reception to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre. In memory of Allan, donations to the Westdale United Church and the Peterborough Regional Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
