Ida Irene Schmalenberg
Ida Irene Schmalenberg, late of Raymore, Sk. passed away peacefully at the Silver Heights Care Home on January 8, 2022, at the age of 97 years. Ida was predeceased by her husband Adolph; parents Adam and Tillie Lindenbach of Edenwold, SK; siblings Linda (Merv), Herb (Theresa), Miriam (Fred), Bert (Enid), Pearl Lindenbach, Eleanor (Ernie), Ray (Pauline), Doreen (Kelvin).
Ida will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Donna (Terry) Wallace and children Ian (Sherri), Mihairi (Stacey) Miskew); Susan (Larry) Wagner and children Danny – daughter Peyton, Nikki (Jason) – daughter Jordyn; Brenda (Wayne) Goldfinch and children Angie (Ian) Perry – daughter and son Lizzie, Will; Ida’s sons Chris (Cindy)- kids Emmerson, Nora, Elliot; son Kelly (Adria) – kids Jack, Lyla.
Ida’s passions were her family friends, flowers, the farm, and baking. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Silver Heights Care Home in Raymore for the awesome care Ida received. A private family funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ida’s memory may be made to the Touchwood Hills Mobility Bus or the Raymoore Baptist church.
