BARRETT, Helen Audria
With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Helen Audria Barrett (nee Fenlon), surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 12th, 2022. Loving wife to the late Frank Barrett. Devoted mother of Mary Frances Allen, Jimmy Barrett (late Gail), Anne Roantree (late Barry), Joan McCormack (Gary) and the late Michael Barrett.
Proud and much loved Grandma to 12 grandchildren, Erin Jenkins (Jason), Ryan Allen (Leslie), Tim Allen (Jenn), Danny Barrett, Shannon Tyner (Ryan), Natalie Kerr (Dave), Julie Brown (Greg), Michael Roantree (Lindsey), Jennifer Ford (Ryan), Kelly Fitzpatrick (Jeremy), Brady Blakely (Andrea) and Brianna Dignem, and 24 great grandchildren.
Cherished sister of Aileen O’Neill (late James), Marion Meagher (late James), Walter Fenlon (Linda Ann Daly) and Harold Fenlon (late Mary Beth).
Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Hanorah Fenlon, and her siblings Verna Keech (late Harry Barrett, and late Joe Keech) and Clarence Fenlon (late Eileen).
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in the Barrett and Fenlon families.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 15th from 3-8pm at Wartman’s Funeral Home, Napanee. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Napanee. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
In remembrance, donations can be made to St. Patrick’s Church Building Fund and Community Foundation (memo: Barry Roantree Memorial) or charity of choice.
We are eternally grateful for the many years of family gatherings, laughter and quiet moments we have had the opportunity to share. She was truly the foundation of our family. Her silent strength, quick wit and unwavering faith and grace will be cherished in our hearts forever.
