DODGSON, David Alan (October 7, 1938 – May 12, 2022) –
We the family announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, David Alan Dodgson, a resident of Tillsonburg and formerly of Belmont, on May 12, 2022, at his late Tillsonburg residence, at the age of 83. David was born in London, Ontario, to the late Frederick Dodgson and late former Alberta Ball. David is survived by his much-loved wife of 60 years, Margaret Pearl Dodgson, of Tillsonburg. Proud father and grandfather to: Elizabeth (John Hillhouse), and their children Sabrina (Mark) and Tyler (Chelsey); Bonnie Roebuck (Tom Sawyer), and their children David and Madeleine. Proud great-grandfather to Vonque, Shanya, Andrew, Joshua, Danté, and Roan. David is succeeded by his siblings John Dodgson and Margaret Wallis.
In keeping with David’s expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of David’s life will be held at St. Alban’s Anglican Church (19 St. Alban’s Drive, Acton), on a date and time to be announced in the future. Later inurnment will take place in Brampton Memorial Gardens. All who knew David are invited to share special memories, favourite photos or contribute memorial donations to “Canadian Cancer Society” via David’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
