Obituary
Passed peacefully away at her residence in New Harbour on May 12, 2022, Lori Gardiner, in her 47th year.
Predeceased by her soulmate and husband, Thomas Gardiner; grandparents, Reg and Rowena Williams and Norman West.
Leaving with broken hearts are her parents, Mervin and Maureen Williams; brothers, Donny (Tina) and Randy (Amber); sisters-in-law, Alicia Gardiner, and Georgina (Ed) Koetje and brother-in-law, Pat Gardiner; grandmother, Vera West; nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins; an abundance of friends including her best friend, Tina Heeney and special friend, Ruby Higdon.
Lori was a loving, caring lady who was a friend to everyone she met. She gave freely of her heart and time in every way possible, including volunteering with the New Harbour Youth and Recreation Committee. She went above and beyond for her clients, taking them for drives, ice cream and coffee on her days off. She will be remembered for her kind and caring spirit. No one spread more love in a lifetime than Lori did.
Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Saturday, May 14, 7:00-9:00 pm and Sunday, May 15, 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
A service to celebrate Lori’s life will be held on Monday, May 16 at 2:00 pm from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, New Harbour. Cremation to follow. Masks will be mandatory for the visitation and service.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Lori’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca).
May the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear; may you touch dragonflies and stars, dance with fairies, and talk to the moon.
We will forever hold you in our hearts until we hold you in heaven.
