Obituary
Marjorie passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound, on May 10, 2022. Born on September 11, 1918, Marjorie Bertha (née Jackson) McMullen of Owen Sound, was in her 104th year.
Loving mother of Bill McMullen (Diane) of Ottawa, Clifford McMullen of Owen Sound and Marie Govier (Rob) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie McMullen, Robin Moore, Danielle Dube, Elizabeth Govier, Alison Govier, and great-grandmother of Amelie, Mathis, Alex, Jamie, Henry, Brogan, Cheyenne and Alexi. Marjorie will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Willard McMullen, daughter-in-law Colleen McMullen, parents Harry and Pearl (née Walpole) Jackson, siblings Clifford Jackson (Pearl and Ruby), Gordon Jackson (Margaret), Helen McGregor (Howard), and siblings-in-law Ola McLellan (Duncan), Jean Brehm (John), Nita Yeo (Jack), Elmo McMullen and Orley McMullen (Kay).
As per Marjorie’s wishes, cremation is taking place and memorial visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Friday, May 13th from 11 a.m. until the time of Marjorie’s memorial service to celebrate her life at 12 p.m. A reception will be held in the funeral home followed by interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
