Anthony (Ronald) TAPP, 83 years, of Ajax, Ontario, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2022, surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Anthony was born to Louise and Basil Tapp in KGF, India. He came from a large close family of 16 siblings. After immigrating to England, he joined the Royal Air Force as a member of the RAF Fire Brigade. He married his hometown sweetheart Gwendoline and they had four beautiful children. The family immigrated to Canada in 1975 where Anthony worked in the Industrial Valve and Fittings Industry and then worked with the Commissionaires after his retirement.
Anthony enjoyed spending time with his immediate family, his many siblings, and friends. He loved entertaining, had a passion for cooking, gardening, fishing, and travelling. He was fortunate to have been a huge part of his children’s lives throughout the years, witnessing their marriages, and welcoming the birth of three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Over the years he travelled with Gwen to see family in India and Australia. He cherished time with his children, whether it was helping the oldest son with home renovations; fishing with his middle son; visiting his daughter in British Columbia; spending time with his youngest son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons at their cottage; babysitting his granddaughter; or playing with his great grandchildren. He was a true family man through and through.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents Louise and Basil Tapp and siblings Adrian, Colleen, Hillary, and Richard. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife Gwen and their children, Glenn, Steven (Linda), Jackie (Scott), Dean (Julia), and grandchildren Stephanie (Tarrell), Brandon, Ryan, and great grandchildren Avery, Elijah, and many siblings, nieces, and nephews.
