Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ida (Elda) LeBlanc of Foyer Saint-Thomas, Memramcook on April 29, 2022 at the age of 97. Born in Memramcook-East on August 16, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Feriole and Emma (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Ida loved everybody unconditionally, was a very giving person and most of all, was a wonderful mother to her children. She will be sadly missed by six sons, Roland (Carol) of Grand-Barachois, Thaddée and Gordon both of Memramcook, Nelson of Memramcook-East, Normand (Nicole) of Shediac and Armand (Julie) of Memramcook-East, fourteen grandchildren, Michel, Lisa, Christine, André, Ginette, Monica, Josée, Stephanie, Jeremy, Janelle, Dominik, Mathieu, Justin and Melissa, seven great grandchildren, Maxime, Mireille, Cameron, Mackenzie, Liam, Arianne and Dylan, one sister Louise (Leonard) LeBlanc of New-Hampshire, one son-in-law Alban Gaudet of Memramcook and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Camille, four daughters, Camilla, Linda, Camilla and Pauline, one son, Owen and by nine brothers, Owen, William, Edgar, Edwin, Leo, Angus, Joseph, Ralph and Ira. Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday May 2 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held at the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday May 3 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
