CLAUDETTE BERNICE NAULT
Suddenly passed away with her husband by her side on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at home at 60 years of age.
She was predeceased by her father Arthur Nault, mother Clara May Nault, brother Paul Nault, brother-in-law Dennis, son Shawn Poitra and granddaughter Taylor.
Claudette is lovingly remembered by her husband Teddy, children Naomi, John, David (Priscilla) and Scott; grandchildren Nikey, Aries, Seth, Leland, Maykayla, Hannah, Hailey, Selena, Brodie, Jenasia, Tommy, Shawn, Seth and Isaiah.
She also leaves behind her sister Theresa and nephew Shane.
Claudette was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She attended Norquay Elementary School then went to Elmwood High School and finished off at R. B. Russell Vocational School. Claudette really enjoyed volunteering at North Point Douglas Women’s Centre. She spent many days there helping put together care packages for women, beading, baking and putting her art skills to paper.
Claudette struggled in life with many different obstacles, but she never gave up! She kept going and always had a positive outlook on life. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. We love you and when it’s our time we’ll meet you at the gates.
The family especially thanks the following: EMT’s, staff at St. Boniface Hospital and Cropo for all the help they’ve provided during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Celebrant Sean Segart.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to: North Point Douglas Women’s Centre, 221 Austin St. Winnipeg, MB R2W 3M8.
