Nancy Dawn Perry 1956 2022

After a long courageous battle with cancer,
Nancy Dawn Perry, loving wife and mother
of four children had passed away peacefully with family by her side at
her beach home, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the age of
65.
Nancy was born on September 8th, 1956 in Springhill, NS.
Nancy was the daughter of the late Edward and Donna (Brown) McFadden.
On February 17th, 1973, she married the love of her life, Raymond
Olsen Perry. They raised three daughters, Annette, Amanda, Arlene and
on son Raymond.
To all who had the opportunity to get to know Nancy, she was
always admired for her quick wit, spunk, strength, stubbornness and
determination.
Nancy had a passion for painting and drawing. She could
freehandedly create anything from landscapes to portraits of family
and friends. She also enjoyed crafts and gifted at anything she had
done from modeling clays, ceramics, rug hooking, macrame, sewing,
quilting, knitting and crocheting.
She loved fishing Striper Bass and clamming with her good
friend Stacy every chance she could.
She raised Yorkies for a brief time but had a tough time
letting them go.
Nancy held many jobs over the years and was very dedicated
and hardworking, regardless of the field. A former graduate with
honours, of NSCC Secretarial Program, she had worked as a
receptionist, but she also worked for An Am, fruit and blueberry
Industries, Stanfield’s, Avon sales rep and she even waitressed for a
while, just to name a few. She also enjoyed working at Subway with her
Buddie Jill.
Nancy is survived by her husband Raymond, four children,
Annette (Chris); Amanda (Greg); Arlene (Dan) and Raymond (Heidi);
eleven grandchildren; Devin (Bridget) Smith, Kyle (Hannah) Smith,
Dylan Smith; Cameron (Tomi) Smith, Colby Smith, Ashley (Lachlan)
Whalen, Gregory Belliveau-Perry, Mason Pyke, Riley Pyke, Lucas Pyke,
and Hunter Perry; six great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Everett, Oliver,
Iris, Shea Bennett and Fearghus; siblings, Edward (Janet) McFadden,
Jo-Ann (Jack) Calder and Valerie (Glenn) Brown; several nieces and
nephews.
Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of
A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). In respect to Nancy’s wishes, no
services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later
date.
If so desired, donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
