WIEBE, Larry James
1954-2022
Larry was born in Winkler, MB on March 16, 1954. He grew up on a farm near Holmfield, MB and attended school there and in Killarney, MB. In 1976 Larry started and apprenticeship at Evan Motors in Killarney and became a journeyman automotive mechanic in 1982.
Larry and Kerrilea were married on July 23, 1976 and welcomed their daughter Shawnasey into their family in May 1981 and moved to Yellowknife, NT in June 1981. In February 1987 they moved to St. Albert, AB and Larry worked at the Edmonton Municipal Airport, later moving to Leduc, and working at the Edmonton International Airport.
In May of 2001, Jared joined their family and then Myles in July of 2004.
We, his family will forever miss him, but we are comforted by knowing he is in his heavenly home.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Kerrilea; children, Shawnasey (Bryan), Jared and Myles; granddaughters, Osean, Dalyn and Novalee; sister, Carol (Brian) Weiss; nephews, Steve and Spencer Weiss and their families, Asher Mabon; nieces, Katelyn West, Kelly Berg and their families and Carly and Hailey Dame; brothers & sisters-in-law, Gayle and Deb DaVaughn, Daryle and Laura Mabon and Karen and Richard Dame. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Anne and his brother Ron.
A funeral service for Larry will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. at the Millet Agriplex 5400 45 Ave, Millet, AB.
Donations in memory of Larry may be made to One Accord Centre, 5128-50 Avenue, Millet, AB or to a charity of one’s choice. A link will be provided later on this page for those to watch the service on Friday.
