Lambert (Bert) Fredrick Wolfe
May 4, 1950 – April 21, 2022
After losing his short battle with Parkinson’s, Bert leaves to mourn his death, daughter Renee (Sheldon) Byers, and grandchildren Adam, Cassandra, Ethan and Savanna. Daughter Christa (Gary) Wolfe, granddaughter Jessica and great grandchildren Haleigh and Noell. Sisters; Terry Perando, Karen (Jim) Beattie and brother Lorne Wolfe and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dad was an extremely intelligent, kindhearted, caring person who had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to build wooden furniture and signs in his shed. He was a genius with electronics and spent many hours building computers and keeping up to date with the latest programming. Bert retired to the community of Manitou Beach in 2012. There he enjoyed the peace and quiet of lake life. To satisfy his sense of adventure, he purchased a motorcycle and started traveling the province meeting new people and taking pictures. He made many new friends in retirement. Bert spent hours telling stories of his life adventures to family and friends. He returned to Saskatoon when he could no longer stay living independently. Porteous Lodge then became home. The staff there took great care of him right to the end.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 30 years Cecile Wolfe, both of his parents; Peter and Agnes Wolfe and Sisters-in-law; Kathy Wolfe, Agnes Bessette, Rose Bessette, Delphine Bessette and Brothers-in-law; Marcel Bessette and Jerry Bessette. Dad, you will be dearly missed and will be remembered with love.
There will be an informal gathering on Sunday, May 1, 2022, to celebrate Bert’s life. Please join us from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Fairfield Senior Centre, 103 Fairmont Court, Saskatoon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Parkinson’s society.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lambert Bert Fredrick Wolfe 2022..
