Hilda Von Moose- age 99 of Knoxville passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022. She is a member of Friedens Lutheran Church. Ms. Von Moose is retired from JC Penney where she was a bookkeeper and worked in the catalog department. She was active at Somerset Senior Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Louisa Ries; husband, Albert Von Moose; brothers, Donald, and Fred Ries; sisters, Beatrice Hicks, and Elizabeth Jeffreys.
Survived by son, Albert (Debbie) Von Moose of Linthicum, MD; daughters, Marcia (John) Walker of Greenville, VA, and Roxann Beckett/Joseph Blaszczyk of Knoxville, TN; brother, Gordon Ries of Baden, PA; grandchildren, Scott (Margaret) Walker of Richmond, VA, Andrea Walker of Virginia Beach, VA, Cherie (Donald) Von Moose-Lemin of Ferndale, MD, Wendy (Jay) Holland of Pasadena, MD, David (Wendy) Lavan of Clinton, TN, Stephanie (Blake) Pantelich of Pasadena, MD, Tim (Laci) Lavan of Louisville, TN; numerous great grandchildren; many beloved family, friends and pets.
