1931-2022
The death of Clarence “Duff” Wellington Campbell of Lindsay,
NB occurred on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his home surrounded by his
loving family. Born in Oakland, NB on December 9, 1931 he was the son
of the late George A. and Nettie (Dyer) Campbell. He was also
predeceased by 1 sister and three brothers, Doris Gamblin, Cecil,
David and Paul Campbell.
Duff served in the Canadian Military with the RCR for 3 years which
included a 19 months in the Korean War. Duff was a Paratrooper
briefly during his time in Korea. He was a member of the Royal
Canadian Legion Branch # 11 in Woodstock .
Duff is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Kay; 3 children,
Cynthia Campbell (Tony Hayes), Dereck Campbell (Kim) and Todd Campbell
(Marlene); 4 grandchildren, Adam Campbell, Rebekah Campbell, Brandon
Campbell and Solita Campbell (Brad Cronkhite); 1 great grandson, Ryker
Campbell; 3 siblings, Ansel Campbell, Douglas Campbell (Sheila) and
Marie Sappier as well as many nieces, nephews and extended
family.
A private family committal service will be held in the Hunter
Cemetery, Stickney. For those who wish, donations made to the Hunter
Cemetery or DunRoamin Stray and Rescue would be appreciated. L.R.
