Moncton, NB – Laura (Boucher) Cormier, 98, of Moncton, NB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17th, 2022, at the Villa Du Repos in Moncton, NB.
She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Emery Cormier and her son, Rheal Cormier.
Laura was one of 12 children of the late Alphee and Marie (Gallant) Boucher.
She is survived by 5 children; Dorice and her husband, Gary Bowman of Westboro, Ma., Terrence and his wife Barbara of Mooresville, NC., Ulysse and his wife Susan of Marlboro, Ma., Louise of Medway, Ma., and Nancy and her husband Bruce Feeney of DeBary Fla.
She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren; Lisa, Peter, Adam, Carolyn, Robert, Elizabeth, Christopher, Heidi and Melissa. Also 12 great grandchildren; Nathan, Hailey, Nolan, Jonathan, Ashley, Kelsey, Ralph Jr, Christopher Jr, Myah, Kurtis, Alexis and Ava and 1 great great grandchild, Sophia.
Laura was born on the farm, lived a simple life and passed those values on to her children and grandchildren. She was a bird watcher, loved horses, had an interest in sewing and made patchwork quilts as gifts for family members.
There are no plans for funeral services at this time. The family will pay their respects privately.
