Linkletter (Ware), Winifred E. Age 90, of Karlaine Place, Bible Hill, passed away in her sleep on April 16, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Throughout her life, Winifred was a resilient woman in the face of adversity. She had her struggles, but she was kind and giving. Born in Buffalo, NY, USA on September 15, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Vida (Uhrig) Ware and sister to the late Fred and Edwin Ware.
She was happily married to Elson Clair Linkletter in Nova Scotia. In 1990, Winifred was predeceased by Elson.
Winifred is survived by her sister, Shirley Anne MacAulay; nieces, Michele MacAulay and Patricia Bradley as well as nephews, Richard, Gary and Brian Ware.
Cremation has taken place with no funeral service by request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. Online condolences are available at www.ColchesterCommunity.com
