Piotr (Peter) Mlodzianowski –
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Piotr (Peter) Mlodzianowski. Peter passed peacefully in the morning hours of April 19, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 70. He was a loving husband to Grace, devoted father to Konrad (Patricia) and Voytek (Katherine), proud grandfather to Oskar, Klara, Maverick, Mikka, and Marcela. He also leaves behind family in his native Poland: his sister Anna (Ignacy), nephew Michal (Anna), and Michal’s daughter, Jagoda.
Peter was born in Warsaw, Poland on February 12, 1952. A graduate of Warsaw’s Polytechnic University, he later immigrated to Canada where he ran a successful small business and then worked as an environmental engineer and a civil servant. Peter loved tennis, golf, fishing, and travelling. He was a devoted and supportive father, always ready to offer advice, help overcome setbacks, and celebrate personal and professional successes. Peter was filled with immeasurable love for his grandchildren. His smile, warmth, and affection will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at W.C. Town Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11am with visiting one hour prior.
