Peacefully, at Woodingford Lodge in Ingersoll, surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 17, 2022, Richard Anthony Jones passed away at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Sharon (Freshman) Jones for 52 years. Proud father of Brian Jones (Vanessa), Wendy Jones (Jason Newman), Stephen Jones (Jackie) and step – father of Nick Phillips (Carolyn). Cherished grandfather of Laura (Justin), Matthew (Slava), Karissa (Tyler), Annabell (Michael), Brittany (Matt), Brooklyn (Jordan), Tove, Jayden and many great – grandchildren. Dear brother of Meg Hammersley (David) of England. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Doris (Reynolds) Jones and his grandson John. In keeping with Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. Memorial donation to Lions Club Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs or the Cancer Society may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Jones family.
