It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sweet mother and
grandmother at the age of 92. Mom was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ont. and married her love Mervin. They eventually moved to B.C. and raised 3 children.
Mom had endless energy and love for her family and friends. She always had tea and muffins ready for company. Her hobbies were gardening, canning, ceramics, crocheting and sewing. Mom was proud of her Ukrainian heritage and proved it by her awesome cooking. She attracted good friends with her laughter and personality. She volunteered and KLGH and was a long time member of F.O. Eagles Ladies Aux. She worked for Home Support for quite a few years. After she retired, she travelled to many places with Sharon.
Mom was predeceased by her former husband Merv, daughter Sharon Beatty, brothers Tony and Bill (Lee) and nephew Murray. She is survived by daughter Beverley Bennett (Mike), son Jeff Rabideau, grandsons Tim Squiers (Lisa) and Chris Squiers. Great grandchildren Ainslee, Braeden and Shelby. Great great grandchildren Kodanna, Rebecca and Hunter, and also many nieces and nephews.
Thanks to Dr. Janz and staff at Jubilee Manor for the wonderful care of our mom. Special thanks to Heather and Michelle for the extra support to our family.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will be at the Nelson Cemetery on Saturday October 16 at 1:00pm. Friends are welcome to join us.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Zoni Rabideau Zalosky November 26 1928
