Yvon Jaillet
1953-2021
STE-ANNE-DE-KENT, NB – It is with great sadness
that the family announces the peaceful passing of Yvon Jaillet, 67, of
Ste.-Anne-de-Kent at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital on
Friday, July 15th, 2021. Born in
St-Edouard-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Jean “John”
and Laurette (Richard) Jaillet. Before retiring, Yvon was a truck
driver for B.A. Richard for over 25 years. He attended
Ste-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic Church and in his spare time, he
enjoyed spending time at the Richibouctou-Village Gun Club and he also
loved hunting.
Yvon leaves to mourn his loving wife, Cecile (Cormier)
Jaillet; his daughter, Sylvie Comeau (Roland) of Dieppe; his step-son,
Benoit Cormier (Lisa) of Richibouctou-Village; his three grand
children, Janelle, Mikel and Gabriel; as well as his great-grandson,
Brody.
Yvon will also be sadly missed by his five sisters, Lilianne
Allain of Bouctouche; Marie-Thérèse MacPhail
(Kenneth) of Bouctouche, Francine Allain (Hervé) of
St-Edouard, Rose-Emma Melanson (Desiré) of Bouctouche and
Lisette Arseneau (late Gornal) of Moncton; his three brothers,
Jean-Yves (Lucie) of Bouctouche, André (Cécile)
of Connecticut, USA and Richard (Linda) of St-Edouard; as well as by
his many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Besides his parents, Yvon was predeceased by two brothers,
Cleo and Joseph.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto on Sunday, July 18th, 2021 from 2-4
and 6-8 pm ONLY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July
19th, 2021 at 4:00 pm, Ste-Anne-de-Kent Roman
Catholic Church, Ste-Anne-de-Kent. In lieu of flowers, donations to
the family or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50 people at a time
will be allowed in the funeral home and a maximum of 70 people will be
allowed in the church for the funeral. If you plan on attending the
funeral, please contact the family to register. Masks are mandatory
and we ask that social distancing be respected.
