Yvon Gauvin 1950 2021

Yvon Gauvin, 71, of Résidence Moncton and formerly
of Notre-Dame, passed away on Thursday August 12, 2021 at The Moncton
Hospital. Born in Notre-Dame, he was the son of the late
Gérald and Edith (LeBlanc) Gauvin.
Prior to his retirement, Yvon worked at CN for many
years.
He is survived by his wife, Aldéa Gauvin
(Richard); one daughter, Nicole Richard (Jonathan Bouillon); three
sisters: Simonne (late Roger), Doraine and Joanne; two brothers:
Raymond (Marie-May) and Fernand (Eva); one sister-in-law, Maria; as
well as his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers: Gérald, and
infant Oscar.
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral mass
will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur R.C.
Church, 3863 Route 115, Notre-Dame-de-Kent, on Monday August 16 at 11
am. Interment will be in parish cemetery. Due to the pandemic, face
coverings are highly recommended and social distancing regulations are
in effect. In memory of Yvon, a contribution to the Friends of The
Moncton Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be
appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
(858-1900).
