Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care in Kitchener at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Treza Shimoun (2006). Loving father of Nazar (Jamila), Albert (Jehan), Angela (late Tony), Ivilin (Emad), Azad (Wasan), Jaclin (Amer), William (Nagam), Nawzad (Shamiran) and Marlin (Manhal). Cherished grandfather of 27 and great-grandfather of 17. Dear brother of David (Zarifa), Jinfiaf (late Michael) and the late Khoshibo (late George).
Yousif’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener. The Funeral Mass will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by a procession to Williamsburg Cemetery for the interment. Reception to follow. Reception address will be provided after the Funeral Mass.
