C’est avec grande tristesse qu’on annonce le décès imprévu de notre chère maman le dimanche 3 janvier 2021 à l’âge de 94 ans. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Maurice en 1998. Tendre mère de feue Françoise (2003) (Ronald Pronovost), Marcel (Pierrette) et Diane. Chère grand-mère de Marc (Carole), Natalie (Fred Brush), Paul, Josée (Guy Faubert) et Christopher, ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants Ryan, Rilynn, Braden et William. Elle laisse dans le deuil son frère Roland (Zora) et sa belle-sœur Madeleine (Jack Mahoney). Survécue par de nombreux neveux et nièces. Aussi prédécédée par ses parents Alphonse et Florida Chénier, ses frères et sœurs Laurette, Ulric, Bertha, Louise, Alfred, Lionel, Delia, Daniel, Henry, Archie, Lucien et Lucienne ainsi que ses beaux-frères et ses belles-soeurs et ses beaux-parents Ernest et Zolica St-Jean. La famille aimerait remercier les employés de St. Mary’s Gardens qui ont connu maman et qui se sont assurés qu’elle se sentait accueillie.
En raison de la pandémie, la célébration de sa vie aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Vos témoignages de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don commémoratif à la Fondation du Cœur ou à la Société canadienne du Cancer. La direction des funérailles a été confiée au Salon funéraire Miron-Wilson.
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our cherished mother on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband Maurice in 1998. Loving mother of late Françoise (2003) (Ronald Pronovost), Marcel (Pierrette) and Diane. Precious grandmother of Marc (Carole), Natalie (Fred Brush), Paul, Josée (Guy Faubert) and Christopher, as well as her great grandchildren Ryan, Rilynn, Braden and William. Left to mourn are her brother Roland (Zora) and her sister-in-law Madeleine (Jack Mahoney). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by her parents Alphonse and Florida Chénier, her siblings Laurette, Ulric, Bertha, Louise, Alfred, Lionel, Delia, Daniel, Henry, Archie, Lucien and Lucienne and her brothers and sisters in law as well as her parents-in-law Ernest and Zolica St-Jean. The family would like to thank all the staff of St. Mary’s Gardens who cared for mom and made her feel welcomed.
In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, and in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have made the decision to have a celebration of her life at a later date. Remembrance donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
