Winston St. Clair Joseph Peters
1945-2021
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on March
15th of Winston St. Clair Joseph Peters, at age 75.
He was the cherished father of Darren Winston Peters (Meg Forbes)
who was his pride and joy.
Survived by Frank
(Mercedes), Sr. Jacinta, Perley, Rose Ann McQueen (Wayne), Sandra,
David (Carol). Brother by choice of Leo, Kathleen, Joan, Dorothy,
Theresa, Gerarda and Mary.
Winston was uncle to
Steven, Jacinta, Karen, Tim, Marcia, Kent and Trina. He was always
happy to see their families grow and followed their achievements with
Interest.
Predeceased by parents Edgar and
Marion (MacKinnon) Peters, step mother Mary Knox Peters, former wife
and forever friend Julie Ann Jackson, as well as brother Leo and
nephew Steven.
He will be lovingly remembered by the Carmichael, Jackson and
Knox families.
“Winnie” as we called
him loved people and said “hi” to everyone. The sterling
quality of his life was his gift of forgiveness. He found the good in
every person and in every situation.
Resting at
Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Due to Covid
restrictions, visitation will be held by invitation only.
Funeral Mass will be held by invitation only from
the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer and will be available for public
viewing via live stream on Saturday, March 20th
at 10:00 a.m. by clicking on the link provided on Winston’s
obituary at www.islandowned.ca.
Interment in St. Augustine’s Cemetery, South
Rustico.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the St.
Vincent De Paul Society.
