Obituary of Winnifred “Win” Yardley
Win passed away peacefully at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in her 92nd year.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robin Yardley in 2007. Win will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cathy Bisbee (Steve) of Elmira, Jim Yardley (Karen) of Kitchener, and Andrew Yardley of Bowmanville; grandchildren, Lara Bisbee, Nikki Bisbee (Brady), Colin Yardley (Sarah), Rebecca Yardley (Joe), Meghan Yardley, Erin Yardley; and great-grandchildren Vivian, Lydia, and Margaret.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jessie Waddell and William Ball.
Robin and Win resided in various Ontario Hydro colonies before settling in Long Sault, Ontario during the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway. After retirement, they moved to Waterloo to be closer to family. Win was an active volunteer in the community and church during her life.
Thank you to all the staff at Trinity Village Care Centre for the care they provided to our mom and extra special thanks to the Maple Bush team for their kindness over the years to mom and us.
Following cremation, a private family memorial service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Trinity Village Care Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
