Winnie’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts today that the families of the late Winnie Hodder announce her sudden passing on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021, in her 78th year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children; Van (Darlene) Hodder, Sherry (Dale) Pye, and Jeffrey (Martyna) Hodder, her grandchildren; William (Jasmine) Hodder, Kyle (Megan) Hodder, Renee (Matthew) Steeves, and Samantha (Jeremy) Steeves, her great grandchildren; Tristan Hodder, Zachary Hodder, and Deacon Dennis, her sisters and brothers-in-law; Susie Parsons, Jessie Frye, Betty (Maxwell) Mercer, Flora (Eddie) LeDrew, and Marjorie Mercer, Donald Earle Sr, and Wesley (Murriel) Earle Sr. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Winne was predeceased by her common law partner; Anthony (Tony) Chaulk, the father of her children; William L.Hodder, her parents; Elizabeth (Efford) Earle, and Lewis V. Earle, her step-father; William (Bill) Parsons, her mother and father-in-law; Lily and Phillip H.G. Hodder, and Brada and Sterling Chaulk, her siblings; Lewis Earle Sr, Mary Olive Earle, and Ethel Parsons, her brother and sisters-in-law; Hiriam Parsons, Edmund Parsons, Frye Bayden Mercer, Weldon Parsons, Chris Chaulk, special brother-in-law; Noel Hodder, Doris Earle, nephews; Lewis Earle Jr, and Chester Earle Jr.
Mom loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Each morning she would ask is the kids in School? Where are William and Kyle? As Dementia slowly took you away from us, I tried my best to remind you who we were. Mom, Nan, Grammy, we will miss you dearly and remember we will always love you.
A for Winnies wishes cremation will take place and there will be no formerly services at this time.
A special thank-you to the Paramedics, R.C.M.P officers, and Parsons Funeral Home. Also to everyone who has reached out either by phone, cards, email, texts, visits and dropping off food. Your kind words and prayers are greatly appreciated at this difficult time.
