William Salter Bill 1963 2021

Obituary of William Salter “Bill”
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our husband, son, brother, uncle, papa, and friend. Bill left us suddenly and way too soon on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 58 years. Bill suffered a heart attack while working at the retirement home where he had ministered to all the maintenance needs of his beloved residences at Sunrise of Thornhill. He leaves his grief stricken parents, Bill and Dorothy Salter. The light of his life, his loving wife Faye, her children, Micky and Michael and grandchildren, Sammie and Sadie who delighted him. He leaves his heart broken big sisters Jennifer de Winter (Gary) and Amanda Salter Yuh (Wally). He leaves his darlin’ niece Emily de Winter Vandyken (Jason); his nephew and buddy, who was the best man at his wedding, Caleb de Winter (Danielle) and his great nephews, Levi, Maverick and Charlie. They will all really miss their Uncle Billy. A Celebration of Life will take place in late September. It was Bill’s wish to become one with his beloved French River. In memory of Bill, donations made to your local food bank would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to M.W. Becker Funeral Home, Keswick.
