William Barnby Cade 2021

Obituary of William Barnby Cade
It is with deep sadness the family of William Barnby Cade announces his passing Oct. 23, 2021, in his home where he was born May 13, 1928.
He was predeceased by his wife Rebecca Marie Cade (nee Odbert) July 3, 2017. He was the Son of William Zachariah, and Marjory Kathleen Cade.
Following his wishes, he was surrounded by family, and departed with his boots on, peacefully and with dignity. Born, and raised on the family Century Farm, he survived – and thrived – through many agricultural adventures all while raising five reasonably well behaved children. Patrick (Cindy), Robert (Cheryl), Daniel (Janeth), Andrew ( Verena ), and Kathleen (Sean). He was a popular Grandfather to Sam (Jess), Jeff (Krista), Zac (Ailsa), Danielle, Lucy (Kameel), George, Emma and Sophie. Also Great Grandfather to Henrik, Hayden and Aiden.
His life revolved around family, Jersey cows, all things agricultural (only Red tractors!) and noisy mechanical devices ( airplanes, ultralight aircraft, motorcycles etc.) which intrigued his curious spirit.
The Cade family wishes to thank Geraldine for her dedication and unwavering support to the entire family, Drs. Gatfield and Thomas and their support teams, the caring PSW’s, along with friends and neighbours for their support and kindness.
Always mindful of those in need, he supported many people and charities over the years. He truly cared about the people around him.
