Obituary for
William “The BTO” McCoy
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at home, surrounded by family, on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age 75 years. Beloved husband of Lynne McCoy (nee Prudhomme) of 57 years. Loving father of the late Douglas McCoy, the late Tracy McCoy and predeceased by his parents Noble and Doris McCoy. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Quinlan and Hailey McCoy, Joshua Morin (Taylor), Justin Morin (Carlene), Cristina McCoy (Ryan) and Sabrina Caria. Great grandfather of Lyla Grace, Georgia Lynne and Austin Joshua. Dear brother of Mary Beth (Michael) and Michael (Alvin). William will be sadly missed by his family-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. Billy was well versed in world travel through his dedication and proficiency in operating a sideboom for various pipeline companies. He was known as “THE BTO”. His grandchildren brought great joy to his life. The family is extremely thankful to the Palliative Care Team. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11AM from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (Deacon Michel Néron officiating). Remembrance donations to TDH Foundation – Palliative care unit would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
