In Loving Memory of William Robert Burke
Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 17, 2021. At the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Sholer). Dear father of Shawn and his wife Anita, Darcy and his wife Donna. Loving grandpa to Elizabeth, John, Lucas, Morgan, William, Sophie, and great grandpa to McKenna and Miranda. Dear brother of John (Bernice), Gary (Sheila). Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bill will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, travelling all over Canada and the time spent with his family.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Graveside Interment Service to Celebrate Bill’s Life at Evergreen Cemetery, Haliburton on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
Please Note # Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, a maximum amount of attendees (100) will be allowed on the cemetery grounds, with social distancing, face coverings and lists of attendees, names and phone numbers will be required and recorded for contact tracing.
Memorial Donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation (HHHSF) or the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada (cheques only) would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
