William Paul Sr Monday July 26th 2021

William Paul Sr.
February 13, 1928 – July 26, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Wilhelm (Willi) Paul announces his passing at the age of 93.
Born in Germany, Willi immigrated to Canada in 1953. He was predeceased by his wife Katie, daughter Irene and later on his lifelong partner Millie.
He will be sadly missed by his son William (Mary) William Jr., Marco, Katie, Chris and family.
son-in-law Lorne Dyck (Paul, Calby, Lyndon, Shane and families) Millie’s daughters (Mary Ellen, Linda and families), as well as nephews, nieces and relatives in Germany.
Dad was very knowledgeable in world affairs, geography, politics and history with an unbelievable memory for events and facts.
Besides enjoying a round of golf with family or friends, dad loved to travel, especially to those many different tropical destinations, where he met lifelong friends.
Family was always dad’s first priority and everyone who knew him had nothing but respect for his honesty, wisdom, kindness and compassion for other people.
His greatest passion was taking care of his beautiful yard and gardening, where there weren’t enough
hours in the day to spend outside, and then relax on the patio with a drink or two.
Dad was a very special and unique person and we all knew him in our own special way. We will hold him dear in our hearts.
Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team and Dr. Beaudry at St. Boniface Hospital.
