Obituary
William Owen Nicholls passed away peacefully at the Boissevain General Hospital on August 27th, 2021.
Owen is survived by his wife, friend, and caregiver Marlene of 49 years, daughter Tracey (Greg) Swanson, granddaughter Lisa-May (Chris), great granddaughters Norah Lillian and Margot Anne Poitras, grandson William Daniel (Joanna) Swanson, all of Edmonton Alberta, son Jaron (Shirely) Nicholls of Portage la Prairie, MB, grandson Bryant (Paige) Nicholls and family of Airdrie, Alberta, granddaughter Brynn (Luke) Irwin and family of Portage la Prairie, MB.
Marlene would like to take this opportunity to thank Doctor M. Nell for his patience and understanding, and all the stall of the Boissevain Health Centre. A special thanks to Owen’s support staff who have been there for support and love for his roller coaster journey.
At Owen’s request, cremation has taken place. A private burial service will be held at a later date. It was Owen’s wish that any charitable donations be forwarded to the Boissevain Palleative Care Unit, 305 Mill Road, Boissevain MB, R0K 0E0, or to the Boissevain Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 1148, Boissevain, MB, R0K 0E0.
