William LeGrow
December 24, 1936 – February 20, 2021

Passed peacefully away at his home in Torbay on Feb 20, 2021 William LeGrow 84 years.
He was holding the hands of his wife and daughter.
Predeceased by his parents Jessie LeGrow (Cole) And Lewis LeGrow and sisters Sadie, Lillian, Emmy, Margaret.
Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories, his wife of 51 Years Bernadette LeGrow (Thorne); children Shawn LeGrow, Jennifer LeGrow, Cindy LeGrow; sister Fannie. He has Such special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; special family member’s are our pets Bimbo (predeceased) Oreo (predeceased). Missing poppy very much are Gerald, Holly & Shawna his Furry friends.
Born On December,24 1936 in Bauline Newfoundland he had a long career in operating Heavy Equipment. He spent many years in the North of Labrador helping with Chrcuhill Falls development. After he returned for a visit to Torbay he and my mother met and after their marriage in 1971 He started work with The City of St. John’s and had a long career until his retirement. Called Uncle willie and Uncle Silly, He had such a wonderful personality and sense of humor. “Right on Baby” we have learned so many great things from you over the years. The stories you’ve shared will last a life time. Your patience, kindness and easy going nature made you so very special. You are loved by all who had the pleasure to know you.
Cremation has taken place with Private Prayer and Blessing.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a traditional viewing and funeral was not possible at this time, and we have decided that a celebration of life will take place in the Summer of 2021 if restrictions are lifted and family and friends can visit from other cities and provinces to share and celebrate memories.
