Esdale William John– Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre August 17th 2021 in his 80th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Joan Esdale (Day). Caring and loving dad of Mark (Pauline) Esdale and Patricia Anderson. Devoted grandpa Bill to Lauren and Nicole Esdale as well as Melissa and Eric Anderson. Brother of the late Richard Esdale. Bill will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Bill was Vice President of Carlton Cards and a member of the late Canadian Ski Patrol for 27 years. Bill and Joan travelled extensively through Canada and the United States in their motorhome, making friends everywhere they visited. And enjoying many trips to Europe. Bill’s main hobby after computers was building model ships. In accordance with Bills wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to commemorate Bill’s life will be held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Monday August 23rd, visiting from 1 PM – 2 PM with service to follow at 2 PM. Covid restrictions still in place, masks are mandatory. In memory of William John Esdale donations to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
