William Harvey Bill Deans Monday May 3rd 2021

William Deans
After a long struggle with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, Bill passed away on May 3, 2021. He was in his 78th year.
He was the 5th generation to steward the family farm and was an excellent machinist and mechanic. Bill’s passion was flying. He got his private pilot’s license at age 17 and later with a friend, purchased a 4 seater Cessna. Using an airstrip down the middle of the farm he delighted his children and grandchildren with aeronautical adventures.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leara and Marshall Deans. He is survived by Marg; Karen and Dave Landsborough; Marsha and John Edgar and Sarah and David Buckle. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Matthew and Andrew; Cathryn and Meghan; Liam and Brady. Also survived by his sister, Jerilyn (Jon) Goforth and cousin, George Darnley, with whom he shared so many childhood adventures.
The family would like to thank Dr. Catherine Hanley and the staff at Park Lane Terrace for their compassionate care.
A memorial for friends and family will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Bill’s wishes were that there would be no flowers or donations.
