Obituary for William Colin Bradbury
It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear patriarch Colin on September 5, 2021. Colin is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 65 years; daughters Nancy and Susan, and the light of his life, granddaughter Lily. He is also survived by his sister Ruth Clarke and her family, Mathew, Mark, Penina and Lucas. He is remembered as a special uncle to Ian, Sharon and Vicky McLaughlin.
Colin was born in Montreal and proud of his Bay Roberts Newfoundland heritage. He was a remarkable man, a graduate of the University of Toronto in Electrical Engineering and was always up to a challenge if a novel solution was needed to a problem at home or at work.
Colin was passionate about many things. In his early years he was an enthusiastic amateur radio operator. He loved his special projects and summer adventures at the family cottage. Later in life he especially enjoyed his pollinator garden, backyard bird watching, various family pets and taking long walks with his best buddy, Duffy.
Dad will be fondly remembered by his family for his kindness, support, remarkable mind, keen judgement, generous spirit and guiding advice.
We miss you so much.
