It is with great sadness the family of the late William Calvin Martin, age 71, announce his passing at the Health Science Complex, St. John’s on August 25, 2021. Predeceased by his son, Bobby; parents, John and Dorothy Martin; brother, Maxwell ; sister, Effie and brother-in-law, Scott. Leaving to mourn are his wife, Eva (nee Duffett); children, Cindy (Desmond), Colleen (Ed), Bill (Jennifer), Robin (Jessica), Wendy (Morgan); grandchildren, Cassandra, Victoria, Maddison, Colton, Sabrina, Calvin, Kenley, Elliott, Blake, Morgan, Joey, Alexis and Jeremiah; great grand son, Oliver; siblings, Shirley (Hubert- deceased), Joan (Phil), Jack (Geraldine), Lewis (Daisy), Barbara (Glen), Clarence (Debbie), Ruby (Ross) and Laura (Dave); sister-in-law, Jeanette Martin as well as many other relatives and friends.
Resting at Vardy’s Funeral Home, Hickman’s Harbour.
Visitation:
August 27, 2021 2-4 pm FAMILY ONLY 7-9 pm public visitation with covid restrictions in place
Funeral service to take place on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2 pm from the United Church, Hickman’s Harbour with internment following.
