BRISBIN, William Arthur “Bill” – Peacefully passed away at home in Peterborough with his daughter/best friend at his side, on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Bill of Peterborough, formerly of Kingston was 64 years of age.
Proud father of Matthew (Meaghan Brown) and Cassidy (Aaron Bint). He will be fondly remembered by Colleen Brisbin, cousins Elizabeth Carveth, Catherine Dibben, David Toole, and many other relatives and friends, including his beloved feline companion ‘Maisy’.
Past owner/operator of The Buccaneer Restaurant and Miss Kingston Boat Lines. Bill loved being a “Stay at home Dad” for his two children. He enjoyed taking long walks, long drives, or boating through the Kawarthas. Bill loved travelling but especially loved Disney World, having visited over 15 times! He enjoyed exploring the many trails in New Hampshire on the annual family summer trips, and he was a devoted Yankees baseball fan.
Visitation will be held at the Ashburnham Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 2nd, from noon-1pm. A family Memorial Service will follow at 1 pm. In light of the current Pandemic and due to Covid 19 Restrictions, an RSVP to attend the visitation is required.
