Obituary For William “Billy” Wanyandie
William “Billy” Wanyandie, resident of Grande Cache, AB, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 73 years.
Billy was born on January 21, 1948, he was raised in Wanyandie Flats, AB, and Sheep Creek, AB. He learned by living off the land and was self-taught. All his life he was a sheep guide, and a true horseman. He did consultation work for AWN and ADC. He was a hunter, guide, horseman. Billy raised his granddaughters.
Billy will be sadly missed by his children: Karen, Norman, Charmayne, Carol, Tracey, Susan, and Brady; grandchildren: Tia, Aailyah, Charmaine, Courtney, Dallas, Preston, Shane, Bentley, Khloe, Ryder, Jase, Dyneka, Isaiah, Meadow, Logan, Jayden, Isabel, Landon, Keira, and Alyssa; great-grandchild Makyle; nieces and nephews: Betty, Jacob, Eva, Sheryl, Rocky, Ron, John, Susie, Evonne; brothers in-law Clifford and Jack; as well as friend Bud Kipp.
Billy was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Louis, Joachim, Virginia Rohatynsky, June McDonald, and Marie Wanyandie.
