Obituary
William John Lang Webster
February 25th, 1928 – November 5th, 2021
We said our final goodbye to our precious husband and dad on November 5th, 2021. Billie was predeceased by his parents Fred and Nellie, siblings Fern, Jean, Isobel and Teddy, son Bob and granddaughter Marilena, as well as numerous brothers and sisters in-law, many of whom were close friends.
He is survived and forever remembered by his wife Margaret of 69 years, children Ted and Linda, Kelly-Michelle, Lara and Gary, grandson Jason, sisters Ena and Elaine, and sisters in-law Gwen, Joyce, and Therese. Dad will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, along with his curling and golfing buddies.
Anyone who knew dad would agree that his character was beyond reproach. While there are no words for the depth of our loss, there are not enough to describe this sweet and gentle soul. Dad always said you don’t spoil a good story by sticking strictly to the truth. His WAS a good story and sorry dad, we’re sticking strictly to the truth! Though the twinkle in his eye is gone the love in our hearts is strong.
Immense gratitude is given to all who cared for dad at the Lion’s Prairie Manor.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
Donations can be made in Billie’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
